Teams in Central and Western Kenya have been successful in planting more than 4.5 million seeds.
This outstanding achievement was made possible through the creation of strategic demonstration farms. Through these farms, local people and community members gained skilled insight and understanding of the techniques involved with agroforestry and creating sustainable agriculture.
This has led to more than 3 million seeds being distributed to 200 local schools and women’s groups which see planting projects as an aid to long term economic growth.
